Community Resources

Background on Resources for Community Development (RCD) and Eden United Christ of Church

Resources for Community Development (RCD) is an affordable housing organization that creates and preserves affordable housing for people with the fewest options to build community and enrich lives. RCD’s Community Development team mission is to develop safe and healthy neighborhoods by building resident leadership and action, supporting and pursuing future real estate development that benefits the community’s goals, and collaborating with stakeholders to expand services, policies, and programs that meet local needs. RCD’s focus has been on the urban unincorporated communities of Alameda County for seven years to strengthen the community to prevent displacement. Read our Impact Report here.
